RUN, JUMP, DANGLE, SWING & PLAY...
My Outdoor Family Sessions are great fun, especially if you have kids on the move. We meet up at a chosen location and go for a walk. This is where I capture the day to day, children playing, holding hands, climbing trees, documenting all the little details that we can sometimes miss in the whirlwind of parenting. These sessions are great all year round especially around Spring and Autumn time.
When can I book my Outdoor session?
I’d say as early as possible to avoid missing out on your required date. Some parents know by Spring or Summer that their little one would have found their feet and on the move, so would love to capture their first steps, book in 5 months in advance.
What if we are forecast rain on my shoot?
I always track the weather (Met Office) a week before your session, so if we are forecast rain but dry in the afternoon, I will always try move the session forward or back within that day. If we are really unlucky and it’s forecast rain all day, we will look together to move your session to another available date.
Location, location, location!
At the time of your booking we will discuss locations and plan a route, usually ideal for little legs. We are so lucky to have such a great choice of beautiful parks and woodland right on our doorstep, over the years I have used some beautiful backdrops for my family photoshoots: Roundhay Park, Otley Chevin, Calverley Woods, The Hollies, Golden Acre Park…just to name a few!
